Congress Hall
Augsburg’s Congress Hall is beautifully situated in the verdant surroundings of the “Wittelsbacher Park”, but is still very close to the city centre. The park offers a wide area on which to relax as well as a small lake and a cosy beer garden nearby. At the same time it is only a short walk from the hall to the city centre. After no more than ten minutes you reach the historical part of Augsburg, the old town, with its magnificent renaissance buildings, its diverse restaurants and hotels as well as its numerous shops. Before, after or during performances, you may wish to enjoy some of the many activities offered in Augsburg or go for a stroll in the naturally grown and romantic “Siebentischwald” forest or Augsburg’s “Westliche Wälder” (western forests) nature park. The extraordinary, central location offers many varied ways to relax in the immediate surroundings of the congress hall.
