Data privacy statement

The purpose of this data privacy statement is to inform the user of this web site about the type and scope of personal data elicited by web site owner Leopold-Mozart-Kuratorium Augsburg e. V.  and the use of said data.

As web site owners we take data protection very seriously and handle personal data confidentially and in keeping with legal regulations. Because of new technologies and continual development of the web site, changes in the data privacy statement may be made. For this reason, we recommend that you reread the data privacy statement from time to time.

Definitions of the terms used (e.g. “personal data” or “treatment”) may be found in Art. 4 of the Privacy regulation / DSGVO.

Access data
We process personal user data solely in accordance with the relevant data protection clause. This means that data is only used if legally allowed. This is particularly the case when data is processed in order for us to fulfill a contractual obligation, when the user has given express permission or in a case of justifiable interest.

Due to justifiable interest (see art. 6 para 1 lit. f. DSGVO), we, the web site owners or page providers, collect data about access to the web site and save it as “ServerLogfiles” on the web site server. The following data is recorded: name of the web site which is accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transmitted, source or reference from which the web site was reached, the browser and operating system used, the IP address used and the provider. The server log files are saved for a maximum of 7 days and are then deleted. The data is saved as a security measure in order, for example, to assist in clarification in a case of improper use or fraud. Data which must be kept for evidence purposes will be excluded from deletion until the incident has been completely settled.

Recording and processing of personal data
As web site operators we collect, process and transmit your personal data only insofar as legally permitted or to the extent that you consent to the collection of data. By “personal data” we mean all information which serves to identify you and which may be traced to you – for example, your name, email address and telephone number.

You may visit this web site without identifying yourself. In order to improve our online presence, we do store access data which is not personally identifiable. Access data includes, for example, files which you have accessed or the name of your internet provider. The anonymization of the data prevents conclusions about you personally.

Handling of contact data
The organizational, contractual and technical security measures which we take are state-of-the-art. This ensures compliance with the legal regulations concerning data protection and warrants that data processed by us is secure from coincidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. When you contact us as web site operators through the established channels of communication, your details are saved in order to deal with your request and get back to you as quickly as possible. Your data is never passed on to a third party without your express consent.

If subcontractors are employed to perform services in our name, we take appropriate legal precautions as well as technical and organizational measures to assure the security of personal data in keeping with the relevant legal regulations.

Your rights as user
As user, you have the right to request and receive information free of charge as to what personal data about you we have stored. In addition, you have the right to rectify inaccurate data and to restrict the processing and deletion of personal details. If applicable, you may also claim the right to data portability. If you suspect that your data has been processed illegally, you may file a complaint with the competent authority.

Deletion of data
As long as your wish is not in conflict with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g. information storage), you have the right to deletion of your details. Data recorded by us which is no longer needed for a specific purpose and which is not subject to a legal retention period will be deleted. It can happen that data may not be deleted because it has to be kept for a certain period, for example for commercial or tax purposes. In such a case, processing of the data will be restricted, disabled and not used for other purposes.
